I was searching through the local listings for therapists in Savannah and I noticed that no one advertised as Kink- or Poly-Friendly.  I thought there had to be someone here who was familiar with Kink and Polyamory and yet, after making several phone calls, I found that there weren't many professionals in the area who were willing to advertise themselves as serving Kinky and Poly people.  This seemed odd to me in a place like Savannah with a thriving kink community and the whispers of a consensual non-monogamy subgroup.  After talking with several people about my concerns, I decided that I wanted to work towards offering empowering services to the people who, thus far, weren't being recognized.  The Sex-Positive Psych is the result of this idea.
